Dr. Karen Singh is a specialized Radiation Oncologist and the mother of three energetic children. She strongly believes in the importance of reading for children's development. When she is not caring for her family or her patients, she enjoys painting and creating engaging stories for her children. As a philanthropist, she is dedicated to giving back to the community through her involvement with various charities that support cancer patients, single mothers, and abandoned animals. Karen has received several accolades, including the AfriCAN Honoree Authors Awards in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, she was honoured with the award for Best Children's Book at the Cape Flats Literary arts at the same event.
