The Anthology of poems by Prosperity Melinda Mpofu is a plea for Africans to practice the principles of love, unity, compassion and Ubuntu. The author is troubled by the hate and barbarism amongst the people of one continent, one race, same roots. The poem extends to her personal experience as a young woman who grew up with no biological parents, so she cries out but also appreciates every experience in her life. The young poetess hopes and strives to make a change through pen and paper.
