Henry Lombard was born on the Isidenge farm in Stutterheim, and lives in Port Elizabeth. He is the author of 'Cancer could not break us', a moving tale of pain, suffering, but also strength and resilience. He received an award for Contribution to Literary Arts at the first Eastern Cape Literary Awards 2024. He is also a member of Poets Vannie Baai and has recently published some of his poems in an Anthology Voices of Gqeberha
